Larry Greene / Illness

After years of construction work, Larry Greene began experiencing heart problems. Doctors quickly prescribed medicine to control his arrhythmia. The drug worked, but unknown to Larry, it was also damaging his eyes. Years later with his vision quickly deteriorating he met with doctors and specialists who discovered the problem. Key optical nerves were failing and destroyed. In a few months he was legally blind with no hope for a cure. Depression followed.
